You can ask that we stop using your data for a particular purpose where you object, and where a process rests on consent you can withdraw that consent at any time without giving a reason. These rights come with some sensible limits, because we cannot erase the records the law tells us to keep, and we cannot delete data we still need to complete a service you have asked us to deliver.

Section 14
We send marketing messages only when we have a proper reason to, and we would always rather earn a reply with a useful note than push an unwanted one. If you send a genuine enquiry we may follow it up with reasonably related information, for example a note that a survey slot has opened or that a relevant service page has been added.
Where we send updates on an opt in basis, each message carries a clear and easy way to stop receiving future mail. You can opt out at any time, either through the link in the message or by telling the crew at talk@hefconstruct.lol that you would like no further marketing.
Choosing to stop marketing does not end the working contact we need to deliver a live job. If we are building your foundations we still need to email you about levels, deliveries, and sign off, and that service communication continues regardless of your marketing choice.
Section 15
This website is about civil engineering, groundworks, machinery, and contracting, and it is aimed at business owners, developers, and professional adults. It is not designed to attract children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it.
If you think a child under the relevant age has sent us their details through the contact form, we will treat the matter seriously, and we will delete those details as soon as we can confirm the situation once we are made aware of it. The world of data protection changes, and so does our business. We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect a new service, a change in the law, or a change in how we run the website, and the version date at the top of this page will always move with it.
